Assessment

Psychological Assessment is a specialized area of practice that uses empirically valid testing instruments to collect scientific data that help us identify and solve problems. At Watermark we offer testing to children, adolescents and adults.

  • The testing process is uniquely crafted for each individual client. The client or parents will meet with the clinician for an initial appointment to discuss the problem and goals of testing. The client will come back to our office on a seperate day to complete the tests, which can be a couple of hours. The testing is administered by one of our psychometricians who are psychology doctoral students. Once testing is completed, a report will be prepared and a follow up visit will occur to discuss the results.

  • The cost of testing varies based on what is required to complete the testing process. We provide you with a "no surprises" up front cost that covers the whole process. Testing costs range from $500-$3,000. Costs include intake, feedback sessions and reports.

  • If you think assessment may be the next best step for you, please call our office and speak to our staff to find out more information and to schedule an initial appointment.
